With a variety of food options, the Pick 'n Shovel offers students an additional choice alongside national brands such as Starbucks and Jamba Juice.
The Ãå±±ÂÖ¼é of Texas at El Paso has expanded its dining choices to encompass a meal plan option. Meal plans combine the feel of a fast-casual restaurant with the affordability and choice you have come to expect from UTEP Food Services.
The meal plan permits you to enjoy a variety of foods that are fresh, made daily and all-you-care-to-eat. The Pick 'n Shovel is open daily, Monday thru Friday 10:00am - 2:30pm.
The Pick 'n Shovel is an all-you-can-eat buffet and has a rotating menu with comfort food favorites, international cuisine, and a salad bar. Beverages are included.
There are vegetarian and vegan options, as well as gluten and allergen-free foods.
Meal Plan Terms:
Students
Meal Plans cannot be cancelled, changed, or refunded, after census day of each semester. Meal Plans are to be used by the student only, no guests.
Meal Plans for students purchased in fall will roll over to spring. Meal Plans, associated dollars, and Flex Dollars, expire the last day of the spring semester. Meal Plans are nontransferable.
Purchase of a meal plan signifies your understanding of, and agreement to these terms.
