School of Pharmacy - Strategic Plan
After graduating is charter class, the School of Pharmacy is ready to use available data, experiences, and lessons learned to refine its strategic plan. The School is engaging in a two-phase strategic plan update process. Currently, the School is in Phase I, focusing on reviewing, reflecting, and refining the original strategic plan. During Phase II, the School will focus on developing a plan to achieve the School’s goals and objectives, implementing the plan, and continued monitoring of outcomes. The strategic planning process began during the spring of 2022 and will be completed by winter 2022/2023, with monitoring and communication to continue for years to come. Included in the strategic planning process are key School members and stakeholders (e.g., students, staff, faculty, preceptors, UTEP partners, community partners, regional and national advisory board members). Below is a timeline guiding the strategic planning process. For questions related to the strategic planning process, please contact Dr. Jose O. Rivera, Founding Dean of the UTEP School of Pharmacy (jrivera@utep.edu) and Dr. Jessica Shenberger-Trujillo, Associate Professor of Research (jmshenberger@utep.edu) are the points of contact for the strategic planning process..
