Supporting Teaching
UTEP College of Education courses are supported by the MAKERSPACE in whatever manner best suits the primary instructor teaching the individual course. In addition, the teaching space is used to provide professional development to preservice and inservice teachers as well as other groups interested in the research and practice of educating children birth to age 8 (general), education from birth through middle school in STEM disciplines, and the use of educational technology as a mechanism for improving K-20 STEM education.
