OPEN TO ALL BUSINESS MAJORS AND NON-BUSINESS MAJORS

The minor in Real Estate (CRE) was designed with substantial input from real estate industry professionals and practitioners. It is intended to fill a stated need in the industry for professionals who have knowledge of the real estate industry upon completion of coursework and entering the real estate profession. The minor focuses heavily on providing students with skills that are necessary to establish a successful career in real estate.

The real estate minor consists of four (4) required courses for business majors at the Woody L. Hunt College of Business, or six (6) required courses for non-business majors at other colleges in UTEP.

The Real Estate Courses can be taken as business electives, upon the department’s approval.
