Traffic Court Justice
The Traffic Court Justice is a vital role within the Student Government Association. Justices are responsible for reviewing and adjudicating appeals related to student parking and traffic citations, ensuring fair and just outcomes.
What You'll Do:
- Review Appeals: Help students by reviewing and deciding on parking and traffic ticket appeals.
- Weekly Meetings: Collaborate with fellow Justices in weekly one-hour sessions to work on cases.
- Make Verdicts: Provide fair and balanced decisions, working together with other Justices.
Supreme Court Justice
Supreme Court Justices play a crucial role in maintaining the balance between the executive and legislative branches of the year's administration. They handle cases related to elections, Traffic Court appeals, and student conflicts, ensuring that all decisions are fair and just.
What You'll Do:

Legislative Assistant
Legislative Assistants are appointed by the Senate following an interview and recruitment or selection by a Senator
What You'll Do:
- Support and Representation: They assist standing Senators, whether at-Large or Collegiate, with ongoing projects and future endeavors. Legislative Assistants also represent their assigned Senator in their absence.
- Committee Involvement: Legislative Assistants may choose to attend committee meetings to stay informed about Student Government Association (SGA) affairs and contribute to discussions.
Attorney General
The Attorney General gets appointed by the President and serves for a whole term. They serve within the document review committee and are the person keeping all SGA in check.
What You'll Do:
- Supervision of Judicial Branch: Be responsible for overseeing the operations and administration of the Judicial Branch, ensuring that all judicial activities adhere to the established constitution and bylaws.
