The fast-track program allows eligible undergraduate students to take dual-credit graduate courses that count in both their undergraduate and graduate degrees.

Dual credit program admission requirements for MS Math
- Undergraduate Degree: BS Math
- Minimum GPA: 3.5 in the major
- Maximum number of graduate hours allowed: 15
- Two letters of recommendation from Department of Mathematical Sciences faculty
- Statement of purpose
The Graduate Studies Committee of the Department makes the decisions.
Graduate Courses Approved for Dual Credit:
Any mathematics graduate class MATH 53** is eligible for dual credit.

Dual Credit Program Application Form
Dual credit program admission requirements for MS Statistics
- Undergraduate Degree: BS Math
- Minimum GPA: 3.5 in the major
- Maximum number of graduate hours allowed: 10 hours
- Required prerequisite coursework is Math 3323, Math 3325, and Stat 3330
- Stat 4380 must be completed prior to graduation with the BS in Math and may not be used for dual credit.
- Two letters of recommendation
- Statement of purpose

- STAT 5428 (4 hours) - Introduction to Statistical Analysis
- STAT 5329 (3 hours) - Statistical Programming
- MATH 5321 (3 hours) - Principles of Analysis
