Director's Welcome

We are very pleased to welcome you to the Master of Public Administration Program in the Department of Political Science and Public Administration at the �山�ּ� of Texas at El Paso (UTEP). Our Master of Public Administration (MPA) is accredited by the Network of Schools of Public Policy, Affairs, and Administration (NASPAA), the global standard in public service education. Our MPA offers a professional education that prepares students for the challenges and opportunities of a career in the management and administration of governmental and non-profit organizations. We also offer graduate certificates in Urban and Regional Planning and Nonprofit Administration, as well as a dual MBA/MPA degree. Established in 1974, the Public Administration Program at UTEP advances the careers of students by enabling them to formulate new ideas, implement policies and resolve complex societal issues. The program welcomes students with diverse undergraduate and professional backgrounds who aim to succeed within an ever changing society.
