Endowments
An endowment is an investment in the future of UTEP – in the lives of those to come – providing a living legacy and a self-renewing source of income that spans generations.
Endowments are also naming opportunities and can be named after yourself, in honor or memory of a loved one, or as a tribute to a specific cause.
In an endowment, gifts are held in perpetuity and invested in a manner that protects the principal from inflation. Leveraged by the investment power of the Ãå±±ÂÖ¼é of Texas System, endowments continually grow over time to become a long-term source of funding for whatever you wish to achieve with your philanthropy.
