Doctoral Program for BME
The BME PhD program is an interdisciplinary program and students often have advisors in two or more departments. The research topics vary greatly, but have in common the engineering approach to solve biomedical problems. During their study, students will acquire a depth of knowledge in their research area while at the same time learn how to function on multidisciplinary teams. The main focus areas are:

- neglected diseases
- microfluidics
- musculoskeletal biomechanics
- mobile healths
- cancer imaging diagnostics
- tissue engineering
- 3D printed biomaterials
- neurosciences
