What does "fully executed" mean?
"Fully executed" means that all parties have agreed to the terms and conditions of the proposed contract by signing and initialing any changes to the written document.
Can I sign contracts on behalf of the Ãå±±ÂÖ¼é?
Only an individual with a written delegation of authority from the President of the Ãå±±ÂÖ¼é of Texas at El Paso may execute and deliver contracts on behalf of the Ãå±±ÂÖ¼é.
When should I use a contract vs. a purchase order?
Use a purchase order (P.O.) for purchases with straightforward terms easily covered by the terms of the P.O. typically printed on the back.
Use a contract when it is necessary to detail specific terms and conditions and to expand on the scope of work to be performed by the contractor.
Unless absolutely required by the vendor, do not prepare a P.O. and a contract for the same procurement.
Are contracts exempt from Best Value Practice procedures?
