The Student Assessment & Testing Office is committed to providing a wide range of high quality testing/assessment services that meet the needs of the educational and business community in a secure, fair, and distraction-free environment. The staff will strive to provide personal, friendly, and knowledgeable service to all customers. As a member of the National College Testing Association (NCTA), our office adheres to the Professional Standards and Guidelines as established by NCTA.

Goals

1. Streamline procedures used for department test sessions
2. Collaborate with the Office of Admissions and Recruitment and International Programs Office to provide students with the admissions information immediately following the admissions tests
3. Support the Ãå±±ÂÖ¼é through collaboration projects with other offices and departments
4. Expand testing services as needed to support entering students’ and current student needs
5. Collaborate with El Paso Community College to meet College Readiness Standards for entering first time students.
6. Support academic departments requests for departmental placement test services
7. Provide professional development opportunities for testing staff
