Graduate Program in Physics
The graduate program in the Department of Physics offers a PhD and a Master of Science degree. Areas of research being carried out in the Department of Physics include Quantum Science and computing, experimental and computational condensed matter physics, chemical physics, bio-photonics, energy and nanomaterials, atmospheric physics, high-energy and astrophysics. Our faculty members are constantly securing extramural funds to support their research programs. Graduate students form one of the most important components of the research program in the Department of Physics. As a graduate student you will have opportunities to participate and contribute to cutting edge research carried out within state-of-the-art facilities.
