Eva Moya
Eva Moya is an Associate Professor at UTEP Health Sciences College, Department of Social Work. She earned her Doctor of Philosophy in Interdisciplinary Health Sciences from the Ãå±±ÂÖ¼é of Texas at El Paso. Her research interests include macro social work practice, border health disparities, community-based participatory research (CBPR), community-engaged scholarship in health (i.e., intimate partner violence, HPV, TB, homelessness), sexual and reproductive health, mixed-methods, and development and implementation of health-related interventions and practices to ameliorate stigma.
Margie Padilla
Margie Padilla is a Clinical Associate professor at the UTEP school of Pharmacy. She obtained her Doctor of Pharmacy from the Ãå±±ÂÖ¼é of Texas at Austin and completed her postgraduate in Primary Care/Family Medicine/Ambulatory Care at the Ãå±±ÂÖ¼é of Texas at Austin. Her research interests include community-based research, underserved/underinsured communities, vaccine hesitation (perceptions, barriers, misconceptions, beliefs), quantitative methods (health survey research), chronic disease state management in Hispanic populations, Spanish-speaking, Hispanic communities, health professionals coalition building, collaborative practice agreements between pharmacists & providers, and development of clinic or pharmacy policy and procedures.
Gabriel Frietzie
Gabriel Frietzie is a Clinical Instructor at the UTEP School of Pharmacy. He earned his Doctor of Philosophy in General Psychology from the Ãå±±ÂÖ¼é of Texas at El Paso. His research interest include health communication, risk perceptions and risk behaviors in infectious diseases, vaccines, licit and illicit drug use, barriers to health in underserved communities, quantitative methods, and meta-analysis.
Kristin Gosselink
Gosselink is an Associate Professor at the Burrell College of Osteopathic Medicine. She earned her Doctor of Philosophy in Physiological Science from the Ãå±±ÂÖ¼é of California Los Angeles and completed her postdoc in Neuroendocrinology in the Salk Institute. Her research interests include community-based research, underserved/underinsured communities, vaccine hesitation (perceptions, barriers, misconceptions, beliefs), quantitative methods (health survey research), chronic disease state management in Hispanic populations, Spanish-speaking, Hispanic communities, health professionals coalition building, collaborative practice agreements between pharmacists & providers, and development of clinic or pharmacy policy and procedures.
