Neonatal Nurse Practitioner Concentration
- The Neonatal Nurse Practitioner (NNP) concentration is designed to prepare nurses at an advanced practice entry level to deliver high-quality care in acute care neonatal intensive care units (NICUs), delivery rooms, and neonatal transport teams. Population focus is preterm neonates ( <37 weeks), term neonates, infants, and children up to the age of 2 years and their families

- There is a Nurse Practitioner major fee ( Tuition/Fees )
- During specialty courses, usually the last three semesters, NP students:
- May be asked to come to campus a maximum of three times per semester
- Will participate in formative evaluations using innovative simulation lab experiences
- May be required to travel 200 miles or more to fulfill appropriate clinical requirements
