As UTEP moves toward becoming a national research university with a 21st-century student demographic, the resources that the Ãå±±ÂÖ¼é Library provides must continue to facilitate student success, provide access to research materials for faculty, and house documents on the history of our region and its principal players.

The Friends of the Ãå±±ÂÖ¼é Library provides the Library with support and assistance in reaching these goals. An example is the Friends of the Ãå±±ÂÖ¼é Library Special Collections Endowment Fund, established to support the programs and operations of the C. L. Sonnichsen Special Collections department.

The Library plays many roles on campus and in the community.

As a member of Friends of The Ãå±±ÂÖ¼é Library you will receive a library card, invitations to special receptions and exhibit openings, advance notice of lectures and programs, and the chance to meet people who share your support of making the Library and the Ãå±±ÂÖ¼é a place of success for our students and community. The membership form is contained in this brochure.
