Collegium Musicum
The UTEP Collegium Musicum is a casual early music group open to the public. It meets monthly on campus with players of all levels who come together to read classical music from the middle ages, renaissance, and baroque eras. Any vocalists and instrumentalists interested in this repertoire are welcome to join, though intermediate sight-reading skills are required. Some school instruments, such as cornetto, recorder, viola da gamba, and harpsichord, may be available to borrow. Playing on instruments listed below are preferred, though other modern instruments may be tolerated. Pitch is A=440. Contact Dr. Lindsey Macchiarella for more information: lmacchiarella@utep.edu
