Ãå±±ÂÖ¼é

With a goal of being one of the finest ensembles of its kind, The Ãå±±ÂÖ¼é of Texas at El Paso Symphonic Band is comprised of instrumentalists inside and outside of the Department of Music. The ensemble strives to deliver engaging performances that are both expressive and polished. The UTEP Symphonic Band presents its audience with a wide variety of repertoire including orchestral transcriptions, contemporary music, and works from the standard wind band repertoire. The ensemble meets both during the fall and spring semesters and performs six concerts each academic year. Placement auditions take place at the beginning of the fall semester. The ensemble is conducted by Dr. Brandon Houghtalen.
