Congratulations on your new position with the Ãå±±ÂÖ¼é of Texas at El Paso (UTEP).
Welcome to UTEP an emerging institution and workplace of choice. Below is a valuable information for you to complete your Onboarding Module.
Onboarding Module Access:
Before starting the onboarding module, you will need to contact UTEP Help Desk to provide you with your electronic credentials and grant you access to view your portal in People Soft. These are generated automatically, but you will need to call the UTEP Help Desk to verify information by phone before you can use these credentials for the first time.
Please keep in mind that it is important that you have an active job record and UTEP credentials to access your People Soft portal to view onboarding module tile. Per policy of the university all staff, faculty, and students are required to complete all parts of the onboarding module. Upon receiving access to your portal, you will be able to view the onboarding module tile in People Soft.

- Upon 48 hours of employment at UTEP all new hires must contact HelpDesk at (915) 747-4357 to provide them with their log in credentials to access their module in People Soft.
- Upon gaining access to their People Soft portals per policy of the university all new incoming hires must complete assigned Onboarding modules within the five days of assignment notification. However, it is strongly recommended to complete the Onboarding Module within 48 hours.
- To access the module, log in to the PeopleSoft Website.
- Duo can be found on the Google Play Store and Apple Store on your mobile device.
- Once you are active in PeopleSoft, if you have any problems accessing PeopleSoft contact the HelpDesk to assist.
- Once you have access to Peoplesoft, if you onboarding module has not populated, please contact HROnboarding@utep.edu.
