TEXES TEST APPROVAL
All attempts at Texas Examinations of Educator Standards (TExES) tests require approval from the Educator Preparation Program (EPP). In order to gain approval to take a TExES test, candidates must complete the 240Tutoring course for the corresponding test and score 78% or higher on the practice test. Upon successful completion of the practice test, candidates can request access to the TExES test. Passing all applicable certification tests is a prerequisite for Student Teaching.
240Tutoring benefits candidates in the following ways:
- A subscription fee of $20 per month (with the discount) allows the user to access materials for all tests.
- The courses are self-paced and can be accessed anywhere with an internet connection.
- Candidates do not have to schedule the practice test or go to campus, as they would for a qualifying exam.
