JOURNAL OF ADDICTIONS AND OFFENDER COUNSELING

Dr. Paul A. Carrola has been appointed as an editorial board member for the Journal of Addictions and Offender Counseling starting on 6/28/2018 for a three-year term. The mission of the Journal of Addictions and Offender Counseling is focused on prevention and treatment programs, the attitudes and behaviors of substance abuse professionals, tested techniques, treatment of adolescents and adults, and qualitative and quantitative studies. It is also open to literature focusing on the attitudes and behaviors of addictions and offender counselors.

JOURNAL OF COUNSELOR PREPARATION AND SUPERVISION

Dr. Paul A. Carrola has been appointed as an editorial board member for the Journal of Counselor Preparation and Supervision starting April 2016.  The mission of the Journal of Counselor Preparation and Supervision is to provide a comprehensive platform for research, theory, and practices of counselor educators, counselor supervisors, and professional counselors.  

TEXAS ASSOCIATION OF COUNSELOR EDUCATION AND SUPERVISION

Dr. Paul A. Carrola has been named President for the Texas Association of Counselor Education and Supervision (TACES) for the 2021-2022 year.  TACES is a division of the Texas Counseling Association that represents supervisors and educators who advocate for the counseling profession in the state of Texas by strengthening counselor education and supervision.

PROFESSIONAL SCHOOL COUNSELING JOURNAL

Dr. Carleton H. Brown has been appointed as an editorial board member of the Professional School Counseling journal starting May 2020. The flagship journal for the American School Counselor Association, the Professional School Counseling journal, publishes peer-reviewed manuscripts of high standard and rigor focused on conceptual and empirical scholarship related to the field of school counseling.
