Deloitte Chair and Associate Professor of Accounting from the Ãå±±ÂÖ¼é of Nebraska-Lincoln
Dr. Kang has taught accounting and international business courses at the undergraduate, masters, and doctoral levels to both traditional and executive students. Prior to joining Nebraska, he held full-time appointments at McMaster Ãå±±ÂÖ¼é (Canada), Oklahoma State Ãå±±ÂÖ¼é (as the Arthur Andersen & Co. Alumni Centennial Professor and the Wilton T. Anderson Endowed Chair Professor of Accounting), Florida Atlantic Ãå±±ÂÖ¼é, and Singapore Management Ãå±±ÂÖ¼é. He has also held visiting appointments at Bocconi Ãå±±ÂÖ¼é (Italy), Sophia Ãå±±ÂÖ¼é (Japan), ITESM (Mexico), Chulalongkorn Ãå±±ÂÖ¼é (Thailand), Korea Ãå±±ÂÖ¼é (South Korea), Ãå±±ÂÖ¼é of Sydney (Australia), McGill Ãå±±ÂÖ¼é (Canada), and Xiamen Ãå±±ÂÖ¼é (China).
He has published research findings in the Accounting Review, Journal of International Business Studies, Contemporary Accounting Research, Accounting Horizons, and others. He has reviewed articles for the Accounting Review and the Review of Accounting Studies, and served on the editorial board of Journal of International Business Studies and Journal of International Accounting Research. Currently, he is an editorial board member of Contemporary Accounting.
