Campus Engagement
Your presence on campus can build your organization's brand as an engaged employer seeking to hire UTEP talent. Employer events are a great way for your organization to connect with UTEP students. Let the Career Center assist you in planning, scheduling, and marketing your recruitment events on campus.
Attend Career Fairs
Employers have the opportunity to register and attend our career fairs which will allow you to connect with students and increase your visibility on campus.
Participate in On Campus Interviews
If you are looking to interview recent or upcoming graduates, interns, or co-operative education students, we can assist you with on campus interviewing arrangements.
Offer Information Sessions
Information sessions allow you to educate UTEP students on your organization and hiring needs.
We can reserve a room on campus where you can host presentations or other career related workshops available with your organization.
Offer Virtual Information Sessions
Virtual information sessions have gained popularity and allow you to reach a broader group of students from the comfort of your office or home; allow us to help you connect with the right population of students through Zoom or Microsoft Teams.
Popular virtual sessions include general information sessions (company overview and opportunities), skills, labs and panels.
Host an Information Table On Campus
The Career Center can coordinate a table session for you to provide handouts and information about your organization and any job vacancies.
We will provide you feedback on high-traffic areas around campus that will target the students you're looking for.
Cultivate Relationships with Faculty
Build relationships with faculty/researchers working across a broad range of disciplines:
The Career Center can assist with coordinating meetings with faculty, department chairs and college deans to introduce your organization, work culture, desired candidate qualifications and recruiting style.
