Created by the Texas Legislature, JAMP is a unique partnership between all nine Texas medical schools and sixty-seven public and private institutions.

This program targets highly qualified and economically disadvantaged Texas resident students, supporting them with:

1. Support through undergraduate scholarships and summer stipends
2. Free MCAT preparation
3. Summer internships experiences
4. Clinical enrichment opportunities
5. Guaranteed admission to a participating Texas medical school
6. Medical school scholarhips

The JAMP program offers financial and academic support for students who demonstrate academic excellence and a strong interest in entering a Texas medical school.

When to apply: No later than student's second year of college

Application Opening: May 1st of each year
