OUR MISSION
The MPI seeks to increase diversity in the medical professions community (physicians, dentists, veterinarians, pharmacists, etc.) by fostering the academic and professional development of UTEP students. Our core values are honesty, accessibility, and accountability. Our goals are to make sure that students receive early and regular support, to broaden the students learning, professional development, and career awareness, to provide an honest assessment of their competitiveness as an applicant, and the guidance on how to improve their status in a timely and efficient manner.

Priority 1 – Early Advising
Knowledge is power and informing students at or before their first year at UTEP is essential.
Priority 2 – Admissions Test Preparation
1st Generation, bi-lingual, and economically disadvantaged students struggle more than normal with standardized testing.
