The Provost's Faculty Fellows Program is an initiative to increase faculty involvement and expertise in key university frameworks while simultaneously providing those selected with positive development, leadership, and networking opportunities. Making use of an asset-based approach, this initiative maximizes local resources and expands the collective impact of UTEP's mission.
Communication for Student Success Initiatives
Communication for Student Success Initiatives Fellows work closely with the Vice Provost for Curriculum Effectiveness and Improvement to promote the inclusion of the Edge asset-based philosophy and integrated and applied learning experiences inside and outside of the classroom. Specifically, they work to develop an implementation plan for assessing desired learning outcomes for Edge-related experiences.

Community Engaged Scholarship
Community Engaged Scholarship Fellows work closely with the Director of the Center for Community Engagement to support faculty through workshops and talks related to community engaged scholarship competencies.

Curriculum and Effectiveness
The Curriculum and Effectiveness Fellow works closely with the Vice Provost for Curriculum Effectiveness and Improvement on collaborating with campus stakeholders to recruit, coordinate, and guide faculty leaders of core curriculum courses to redesign courses for high-impact and engaged learning experiences.

Faculty Leadership and Professional Development Fellows work closely with the Vice Provost for Faculty Affairs and the Director of the Institute for Scholarship, Pedagogy, Innovation and Research (InSPIRE) to develop materials for workshops related to faculty and student success initiatives. Additionally, Fellows support key communities of practice and support the integration of inclusive excellence elements into all activities.
