College of Nursing
The School of Nursing’s RN-to-BSN program provides a flexible online alternative for working registered nurses to attain a Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) degree. This program eliminates duplication of content and clinical practice experience achieved by the skilled registered nurse.
Designed to accommodate working nurses who need to balance work obligations with academic goals
Ranked No. 3 among the Most Affordable Ãå±±ÂÖ¼é RN-to-BSN programs in the U.S. (EDsmart, 2019)
Accredited by the Commission on Collegiate Nursing Education
After teaching in UTEP’s traditional BSN program, Audrey Cooper Tolouian, Ed.D., transitioned to online teaching in 2013. With a background in social work, nursing, teaching and research, she provides students with the support they need to succeed as baccalaureate-prepared registered nurses.
Registered nurses holding BSN degrees can expect to earn higher salaries than those with associate degrees or diplomas. To date, hundreds of registered nurses have earned their bachelor’s degrees through UTEP's RN-to-BSN program.
