The online Master of Science in Nursing Administration and Management program prepares advanced-practice registered nurses for leadership and management roles in a variety of health care settings. Students explore key administration concepts in human resources, health care finance and quality management. A bachelor’s degree in nursing and U.S. RN license are required to apply.

UTEP opened the door for Annie L. Garcia to step into her role as chief nursing officer at Del Sol Medical Center in El Paso. Annie began her nursing career in 2003 and she credits her graduate education for helping to advance her career at HCA, the largest hospital operator in the U.S. Before serving as Del Sol's top nursing executive, Annie was CNO at Methodist Texsan Hospital in San Antonio.
