Students can select from broad interdisciplinary content to build flexible degree plans that explore different perspectives.
Diverse plans engage different audiences, expertise and critical thinkers.
Final projects build portfolios that lead to job promotions or new career paths.
The MAIS’ interdisciplinary options allowed Dan Flores to pursue his interests in philosophy, biology and psychology, which help him as a professor, adviser and administrator at Houston Community College. He relished the experience because it made him a better student and a more marketable professional. He is a low-residency humanities Ph.D. student at Salve Regina Ãå±±ÂÖ¼é in Rhode Island.
The MAIS program advances individuals in their chosen profession. Our graduates work in industry, education, entertainment, government, NGOs, and the private sector. Some are self-employed. Others build collaborations for social justice and change.
