Spring 2019 Core Subjects EC-6 and 4-8 Qualifying Test
Candidates participating in the College of Education Educator Preparation Program must demonstrate content mastery by passing the qualifying test established by the program. The qualifying test helps ensure that candidates have the necessary skills and content knowledge to perform adequately on the Texas Examinations of Educator Standards (TExES) exam. All the domains of the Core Subjects content qualifying test must be passed to receive clearance to take the TExES exam. Furthermore, candidates must successfully complete ALL TExES exams required for their area of certification in order to participate in student teaching.
