UTEP Computer Science Students Participate in the Grace Hopper Celebration 2023
On September 27, 2023, UTEP CS students participated in the Grace Hopper Celebration virtually and in-person in Orlando, Florida. Students had the opportunity to network and attend professional development sessions to learn from leaders in tech. Today, GHC is the world’s largest gathering of women technologists, where women from around the world learn, network, and celebrate their achievements (ghc.anitab.org).
Attendance was organized and funded by the Computer Science Department, supported by the BRAID program, CAHSI, and Anita Borg Institute. Students were accompanied by Bianca Alvarez, CS Student Engagement Coordinator. To learn more about UTEP Computer Science opportunities, visit utep.edu/cs/.
