Admission and Application Requirements
1. How can I start the application process?
Please visit the UTEP Graduate School website to submit an online application. Be advised that only complete applications will be considered for admission.
2. What tests are required for admission?
• GMAT or GRE scores are optional.
• International applicants whose undergraduate degree was delivered in a language other than English are required to submit TOEFL scores of at least 250 computer-based/600 paper-based/100 internet-based.
3. How can I request a GMAT waiver?
Instead of GMAT scores, please upload a document [Word, PDF] in which you include your request for a GMAT Waiver based on your undergraduate GPA or graduate degree. For more information, please email us at gbc@utep.edu
4. I graduated from a non-AACSB accredited institution. Can I still apply to the MBA?
Yes. We accept undergraduate degrees from most non-AACSB accredited institutions.
6. Where do I send my official transcripts and scores?

7. I’ve applied to the program. How soon will I hear back from Graduate School regarding admission?
Decision recommendations take 2-3 weeks. You can contact us for an application status update via email at mba@utep.edu
8. What are the application deadlines?
Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis. Early applications are encouraged due to cohort capacity. For a list of application deadlines, please visit the Application Deadlines website.
Facility and Program Details
1. What is the total tuition and fees for the UTEP MBA Program?
PMBA
In State: $1,795.45 per three credit course; $17,957.50 for the 30 credit-hour program
Out of State: $3,396.20 per three credit course; $33,962.00 for the 30 credit-hour program.
EMBA
$40,000 for the 30 credit-hour program.
Tuition, fees, and charges are subject to change by administrative, legislative, or regent action, and changes become effective on the date enacted.
2. I work full time. Will I be able to attend classes?
Our Professional MBA and Executive MBA programs are designed for working professionals.
Courses are offered in the evenings and Saturdays.
3. What is the duration of the program?
EMBA: 15 months
PMBA: 15 months
4. Are there scholarships and graduate assistantships available to help me pay for tuition?
Scholarships and graduate assistantships are available to enrolled students. When opportunities arise, the college, the department, or the advisor will inform enrolled students.
5. Can I make an appointment with a UTEP MBA advisor?

6. Is financial aid available?
